New year

January 1st, 2006 at 10:55 am

It is a brand new year and I am just starting to follow the dave ramsey plan. I will hopefully have a saving , which I have been bad at keeping and also have a couple of credit cards paid off. We shall see how it goes.

Getting on track again

May 2nd, 2005 at 05:35 pm

I have been really bad the past couple of months. My baby EF is gone. I have only $50 in there. I should have $1,000. All my credit cards have a high balances. The first thing to change is my food budget. There is my husband and me and we spend way to much to eat. I love going out to eat alot. On the nights I have to work I usually pick up carry out, which still cost a lot. I plan on crockpot meals on those nights. My first card I plan on paying off is about $150. I should have that paid off in three weeks. Hope I can do it.

No spending for the week.

I am going to try and not buy anything for a whole week. I am only going to spend money on bills and food. The not shopping is going to be hard for me. I love to spend. I think the weekend is going to be tough. I plan on spending the weekend at home. My husband and I are going to do our taxes today. I am worried we always end up owing.

Food bill

Today is sunday and I am making my food menu for the week. The first thing I am going to do is go shopping in my pantry. I figure I should have enough in my pantry and freezer that I shouldn't have to spend that much. I would like to spend $50 this week. Which is very good for me.

Paying off credit card

February 16th, 2005 at 07:06 pm

I am going to start paying $25 a week until my credit card is paid off. I owe about $350. I am really going to work hard to get out of debt by the end of the year.

Lost card

January 19th, 2005 at 12:32 pm

I lost my bank card yestarday. Which I am actually glad well now I am. At first I was panick until I cancel it. It will take up to 10 days before I get it. Since I didn't have it yestarday or today I didn't spend any money. I was going to buy my husband a pair of shoes because he was having a bad day. I couldn't because I didn't have my checkbook. I have saved so much money in the past two days. There were a couple times where I wanted a coffee from starbucks but I couldn't get any money out. I am now realizing how much money I spend on things I don't need. I am going to try and not carry my card or my check book. Every week I will only take out what I need.
